Genetic & Health Testing
The health and wellness of our cats and your Maine Coon kitten is our top priority. Prior to entering our home and cattery each of the foundation breeding cats tested negative for the feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus. To further protect our breeders and their kittens, we do not accept new breeders from outside the program.
Additionally, each foundation breeding Maine Coon cat in our program completed a comprehensive DNA health test for 39 genetic markers and tested negative, unless both parents had already been cleared by being tested themselves.

All of our breeding cats are purebred Maine Coon Cats with multigenerational pedigrees. Our cattery is dual registered with both TICA & CFA in the United States.

Our Kings and Queens recently made the journey from Beaver Cove, Maine, located on beautiful Moosehead Lake, to this family farm outside of Dothan, Alabama. Coming Soon Bindi (aka Cheyenne) had 4 beautiful babies courtesy of blue-eyed Zorro on October 20, 2025, and some will likely have daddy's rare blue eyes! These kittens will be made available for reservation around 7 weeks of age, and folks who get on my list of preapproved buyers early will have first shot at reserving them. Besides this litter, Blue Angel has a litter due with Zorro 11/7, and Biasca has a litter with Zorro due 12/8. It has been a good couple months to be Zorro!

On Hold This little stunner is staying right here at Jellico Dream! Even though I have some crazy offers for her, she is so unique and special I just can't bring myself to sell her at any price! The blue-silver and peach coat, the peach fleur-de-lis on her face, her studious brow, and a personality every bit as special as her look quickly had she and I locked together at the heart. She is going to make some beautiful babies down the road, though, so stay tuned for some amazing kittens out of this one in early 2027! Sequoia and Zorro will be her suitors! She'll make red boys, tricolor girls, and with Zorro, some blue-eyed dreamboats too!

He has the tuxedo, he has the white fangs, and he even has some magical markings on his left front paw! So I call this one The Count. His playfulness is not confined to nighttime, though. He is playful all the time. And he doesn't bite. But boy can he flirt! The Count will be absolutely majestic when he reaches full size in 3 years, and Ruby has promised to let me watch him grow up in pictures! I am thrilled for Ruby and her son, and so happy The Count has found such a good family to call his own!

(You can see Ozzy on the Recently Sold Kittens tab of this website). Elvira's left ear is so spectacular it is said to have magical powers. If she twitches it, you will melt on the spot. Unlike Ozzy, who considers himself Chief Engineer of the Crazy Train, Elvira is all sugar and spice and everything nice, and her black magic is good magic. She loves to cuddle, loves attention, and loves to play. She has a very comcerned expression when she is studying you, which is just adorable! My heart's on fire for this little Elvira, but it's the Cordles who will soon be seeing her little light shine!

She loves to play hide and seek, but when you pick her up, she melts into a a big puddle of cuddle. And she never gets tired of snuggling. Her coat is silky, and her ear tips are already so big they curl backward in the breeze. This girl is almost but not quite solid black. She has just a tiny touch of white on her chest and long white hairs scattered throughout her coat. She loves to watch Aspen play while she cuddles, and thanks to Katie, she'll always get to do that!

In a touching tribute to my late wife Peyton, Mikaela now has a new name--Mispy, which is a play on "Miss P." Valerie and all the Kilgores have been close friends of the Pennington family for 50 years, and gestures like that are why the Penningtons have always adored the Kilgores so. Mispy is a little darker shade of blue than her sister Aspen, but her personality is just as bright. And she is so very photogenic! She is a lovable, curious, inquisitive little girl who delights in finding something new to play with every day. And she can snuggle with the best of them. She likes to throw a demure look that melts the heart instantly. I am so happy she is now with Valerie and Brian.

Sold CLAIMED BY TAHOE VENTRESCO OF MASSACHUSETTS! That's right, Tahoe insisted that the Ventrescos get his brother Bode too. So the Ventrescos will have not one but two Maine Coon kittens climbing their Christmas tree this year. They have been advised to tie their ornaments on the tree, not hang them! All my kids call Bode "the feisty one." From the beginning, he was willing to throw elbows at his littermates to get to what he wanted. He and Tahoe play hard under the watchful eye of their mother Blue Angel, just like brothers.

Sold Ringo named himself. He has a white ring around his tail. Unlike the characters in the Lord of the Rings, possession of the Ring only makes this little guy more fun. Ringo also has another unique feature--one black ear tip and one white ear tip. He also has a happy-go-lucky personality behind his bedroom blue eyes, and he is magically photogenic. Ringo is the most confident and outgoing boy in his litter. He will insist that you play with him. He and Captain Jack are constant playmates and have a very fun bond, so if anybody wants them both I am happy to offer a special discount just to see them stay together.

And he is so cute that you want to check him for a wind-up key because he can't possibly be real! This one was really, really hard for me to let go. I literally had tears streaming down my face most of the way to meet the Careys' flight nanny at the Atlanta airport. But the thought of the joy I have now seen on the faces of the Carey kids -- Ciara, Adam, Davina and Angelina-- truly makes my heart smile. They are already in love with this boy (and his beautiful sister Honeybee aka Freya), and they have unanimously named this heartthrob Rosco.

Sold HONEYBEE AND HER BROTHER ROSCO ARE NOW BRINGING ENDLESS LAUGHTER AND FUN TO THE CAREY FAMILY IN RHODE ISLAND!!! This is the original Maine Coon look-- the look that led European settlers to believe that these big Maine forest cats were a cross between a wild cat and a racoon--"Maine Coons." Nothing wild about Hiawatha, though. She is a happy-go-lucky girl who loves to play and loves to snuggle. Her ear tips are starting to come on strong and are growing every day. Hiawatha gives the boys all they can handle in their daily wrestling matches. I just love her markings and her classic Maine Coon beauty! Moosehead Maine Coons selected these Kings, some from its own breeding program and some directly imported by Moosehead from the finest breeders in Europe. Jellico Dream has been lucky enough to acquire them from Moosehead. They feature strong, muscular builds, long fur and tails, tufted ears, and a uniquely wild appearance. We will continue to build upon this incredible foundation of strong, hardy, rugged male cats for which this breed is so well known.

With the generous advice of Moosehead’s owners, we are also choosing future queens that are individually unique while collectively representing the best of the breed. Our queens are gorgeous, with wild expressions, lynx tipped ears, long coon tails, and gorgeous coats. And in combination with our Kings, they can produce most of the colors on the Maine Coon spectrum.
